What people should be aware of is that business grants are not being offered by the United States government. Grants which are available to women and minorities come in three major types – Private, Corporate and Professional grants. Private types are financed by certain individuals. A solid business plan must be ready prior to grants application. It would be beneficial to take a grant writing course or to read books that can provide helpful information on how to draft a good and well-constructed cover letter and business plan. This can increase the likelihood of getting approved for a grant as it is a very competitive field to explore.
